“This light coloured honey has a rather savoury aroma. The flavour delivers some lovely honeycomb notes and a real sweetness on the palate. We could see that it would work well in dishes.”

“This is a light golden honey with a delicate translucence and very subtle notes of citrus. it is quite sticky. The flavour grows in the mouth, it is fresh and has notes of acacia and wild flowers. While it is delicate it has many layers of flavour and is very pleasant.”

About: Raw honey, obtained by free flow from honeycombs. During the honey extraction process, the honeycombs are opened by the removal of the wax caps with which the bees “seal” the contents of each cell.

Upon extraction, a small amount of honey (approx. 5-10%) flows freely from the honeycomb, thus obtaining honey that, along with the specific floral aroma, also retains a uniquely fresh honeycomb taste.

Taste: Initially delicate, the sweetness quickly develops strength, bringing in honeycomb undertones and a fine fruit finish.

Pairing: Perfect for spreading on fresh bread or toast, topping porridge and breakfast cereals, and as a sweetener in hot and cold drinks.

Presented in a pretty jar, this exquisite honey is produced in small batches.
