Description
About Mint and Wildflower Honey: Wild flowers appear spontaneously in the flooded areas of the Danube Delta at the end of the summer. In these conditions, the bees collect nectar from several species, and in very good years, when the amount of mint is dominant (over 50%), the honey obtained can be considered mint honey.
It represents the last collection of the bees in the beekeeping season (August-October), it is reddish sometimes with greenish shades, with a specific aroma, bringing with it the aroma of musk, with a coolness at the end due to the mint.
It crystallizes finely, in the form of creamy honey.
With a unique creamy texture from wild aquatic mint and other floral nectars found in a river-delta nature reserve. The honey’s immediately rich taste quickly evolves floral tones emboldened by a dominant mint flavour, fading to a light, sweet finish.
The Mint and Wildflowers from the Danube Delta Honey is not mentholated!
