Acacia, Hawthorn & Maple Blossom – Premium Award-Winning Honey (227g)

Renowned for its exquisite, almost transparent pale colour and mild, floral flavour, acacia honey is collected from the pollen of the amazingly fragrant flowers of Acacia trees from the biodiverse meadows of the Carpathian Mountains. Collected by a single master beekeeper and produced using centuries-old methods, this artisan honey has a pale yellow colour and mild, floral flavour.
It is a honey with a light colour, sometimes even white, pleasant taste with a fine, mild aroma. The real value is observed after the honey crystallizes, forming a buttery mass from which the large crystals are missing.

Acacia, Hawthorn & Maple Blossom Honey – Award-Winning Raw Honey (227 g)

Product Overview

Experience the exquisite flavour of Acacia, Hawthorn & Maple Blossom Honey, a premium Small batch production artisan raw honey that marries the delicate sweetness of acacia nectar, the subtle floral aroma of hawthorn blossoms and the rich depth of maple flower nectar. Harvested in remote Carpathian Mountains landscapes, this artisan honey delivers a uniquely balanced floral profile that’s both elegant and complex.

Taste

From floral nectars of acacia, hawthorn and maple trees found in a mountain nature reserve, this honey has a sweetness that develops rapidly yielding a maple flavour with overtones of toffee and vanilla, leading to a long, fine, toffee finish.

Great Taste Award-Winning Honey

This honey has been recognised with a Great Taste Award, judged by leading chefs and food experts for its refined flavour, smooth texture and exceptional balance. The combination of three blossom sources creates a layered sensory experience — sweet acacia notes, gentle hawthorn floral hints and a subtle maple finish — making it a standout choice for honey connoisseurs and gourmet cooks.

Here’s what the Great Taste Awards judges said about our Acacia, Hawthorn & Maple Blossom Honey:

“This honey has a warm golden colour with an inviting smell. It has notes of maple and toffee with a pleasant toffee aftertaste. It has a smooth consistency and is moreish. Its provenance is impressive.”

“This is a lovely, light, acacia honey, which is really viscous. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy and there’s a beautiful sweetness and depth of flavour which is unusual for an acacia honey. It finishes with some lovely layers of flavour and a long length.”

Our Production Standards

Our beekeepers utilize traditional artisan methods to ensure that every jar of Acacia, Hawthorn & Maple Blossom Honey reaches you in its most pure, raw state.

  • Raw & Unpasteurized: Our honey is not heat-treated. Keeping it unpasteurized protects the delicate floral aromas and the vital nutritional enzymes found in the early spring nectar.
  • Cold-Extracted: Our beekeepers use a cold-extracted method to remove the honey from the comb. This process ensures the living enzymes, antioxidants, and original pollen remain preserved and undamaged by heat.
  • Treatment-Free: Our bees forage in chemical-free mountain landscapes. We follow treatment-free beekeeping practices, ensuring no synthetic chemicals or antibiotics are used within the hives.
  • Small-Batch & Sustainable: Every harvest is a limited small-batch run. Our process is bee-friendly and sustainably harvested, prioritizing the health of the colony by only collecting the surplus honey.

Pairing

This versatile artisan honey pairs superbly with soft blue cheese, and is a great addition to all your favourite honey dishes:

  • Drizzle over porridge, yoghurt or granola
  • Sweeten tea, herbal infusions or hot drinks
  • Spread on fresh bread, toast or pastries
  • Pair with cheeses and fresh fruit

Additional information

Ingredients

100% Pure Organic Acacia, Hawthorn and Maple Blossom Honey

Flavour

Sweetness develops rapidly yielding a fulsome maple flavour with overtones of toffee and vanilla, leading to a long, fine, toffee finish.

Benefits

Pure honey is naturally high in antioxidants derived from nectar. Typically, 82% sugars (glucose and fructose), 18% ‘B’ vitamins and minerals. Raw honey is unheated during processing to avoid damaging these delicate, nutritious compounds which support a healthy immune system.

Storage

Honey is ideally stored at room temperature (around 18-22 Celsius) and need not be refrigerated to preserve it in top condition for up to two years. Exposing honey to temperatures above 35 C (hive temperature) from the sun or other heat sources can damage vitamin content and flavour, so please store out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. All natural honey will begin slowly to crystallise after a period of time dependent on its aromatic content. It can be used semi-set in the same way as when clear, but if you wish to return its clarity, place in a warm cupboard at 30-35 C and over a few days it will clarify.
