Mountain Wild Cherry & Dandelion Honey (227g)

Our premium Wild Cherry & Dandelion Honey is the first high-altitude honey of the year and one of the most aromatic varieties, produced from hives in a Carpathian mountain nature reserve. Its taste is at first similar to pure cherry, sweet, moreish and well-rounded, but enhanced by aromatic notes, a smooth texture and golden colour from the presence of the dandelion nectar.

Mountain Wild Cherry & Dandelion Honey — Raw, Treatment-Free | Wild-Foraged & Small-Batch

Product Overview

Discover our Mountain Wild Cherry & Dandelion Honey, a premium Single-Origin raw honey harvested from high-altitude beehives in the Carpathian mountain nature reserve. This first honey of the season combines the sweet, fruity notes of wild cherry nectar with the golden, aromatic character of dandelion blossoms — creating one of the most fragrant and well-rounded honeys in our range.

Our Production Standards

We follow strict artisan standards to ensure the honey remains in its most natural state.

  • Raw & Unpasteurized: This honey is never heat-treated. Keeping it unpasteurized ensures the delicate enzymes and complex floral notes are preserved.
  • Cold-Extracted: Our cold-extracted method removes the honey from the comb without heat, protecting the antioxidants and natural pollen content.
  • Treatment-Free: Our bees are kept in chemical-free mountain landscapes. Our beekeepers use treatment-free beekeeping practices, avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals or antibiotics.
  • Small-Batch & Sustainable: We produce in limited small-batch quantities. Our process is bee-friendly and sustainably harvested, ensuring the health and longevity of the bee colonies.

Pairing

This versatile honey enhances both sweet and savoury dishes:

  • A treat on fresh buttered bread or toast
  • Drizzle over porridge, yoghurt or fresh fruit
  • Naturally sweeten tea, milk, herbal infusions or lemon drinks
  • Use in vinaigrettes and salad dressings for a gourmet touch

Perfect as a natural sweetener, everyday pantry staple or thoughtful artisan food gift.

Ingredients

100% Organic Mountain Wild Cherry & Dandelion Honey

Benefits

Pure honey is naturally high in antioxidants derived from nectar. Typically, 82% sugars (glucose and fructose), 18% ‘B’ vitamins and minerals. Raw honey is unheated during processing to avoid damaging these delicate, nutritious compounds which support a healthy immune system.

Storage

Honey is ideally stored at room temperature (around 18-22 Celsius) and need not be refrigerated to preserve it in top condition for up to two years. Exposing honey to temperatures above 35 C (hive temperature) from the sun or other heat sources can damage vitamin content and flavour, so please store out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. All natural honey will begin slowly to crystallise after a period of time dependent on its aromatic content. It can be used semi-set in the same way as when clear, but if you wish to return its clarity, place in a warm cupboard at 30-35 C and over a few days it will clarify.
