Mountain Wild Raspberry & Fir Tree Honey (227g)

Our Mountain Wild Raspberry & Fir Tree Honey is from hives at a single location in a Carpathian mountain nature reserve where fir and raspberry naturally grow together. Its delicious flavour is created by the bees harvesting raspberry nectar and fir honeydews at the same time. The fragrance is fresh and the taste is pleasant and sweet, with depth from the honeydew and subtle hints of raspberry fruit.

Description

Mountain Wild Raspberry & Fir Tree Honey — Raw, Treatment-Free | Wild-Foraged & Small-Batch

Product Overview

This Mountain Wild Raspberry & Fir Tree Honey is a unique, single-origin mountain honey. It is wild-foraged from a protected, pristine Carpathian Mountains Nature Reserve, where wild raspberry and fir trees grow side by side. Bees collect both raspberry blossom nectar and fir tree honeydew. The result is a natural, high-quality honey with a balanced, slightly woody sweetness.

Our Production Standards:

We produce our honey using traditional artisan methods to ensure it reaches you in its most pure form.

  • Raw & Unpasteurized: This honey is not heated. Keeping it unpasteurized preserves the natural floral aromas and the nutritional profile of the harvest.
  • Cold-Extracted: Our beekeepers use a cold-extracted process to remove the honey from the comb. This protects the living enzymes, antioxidants, and pollen content.
  • Treatment-Free: Our hives are located in chemical-free areas. Our beekeepers use treatment-free beekeeping practices, meaning no synthetic chemicals or antibiotics are used on the bees.
  • Small-Batch & Sustainable: Every jar is part of a limited small-batch run. We are bee-friendly and sustainably harvested, taking only the surplus honey to ensure the colonies remains healthy.

Pairing

Mountain Wild Raspberry & Fir Tree Honey complements a wide range of meals and snacks:

  • Drizzle over porridge, yoghurt or fresh fruit
  • Delicious on sourdough, bread or toast
  • It pairs beautifully with strong cheeses for gourmet contrast
  • Use in vinaigrettes or as a glaze for vegetables

Perfect as a natural sweetener, everyday pantry favourite or thoughtful artisan food gift.

Ingredients

100% Organic Mountain Wild Raspberry & Fir Tree Honey

Benefits

Pure honey is naturally high in antioxidants derived from nectar. Typically, 82% sugars (glucose and fructose), 18% ‘B’ vitamins and minerals. Raw honey is unheated during processing to avoid damaging these delicate, nutritious compounds which support a healthy immune system.

Storage

Honey is ideally stored at room temperature (around 18-22 Celsius) and need not be refrigerated to preserve it in top condition for up to two years. Exposing honey to temperatures above 35 C (hive temperature) from the sun or other heat sources can damage vitamin content and flavour, so please store out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. All natural honey will begin slowly to crystallise after a period of time dependent on its aromatic content. It can be used semi-set in the same way as when clear, but if you wish to return its clarity, place in a warm cupboard at 30-35 C and over a few days it will clarify.
