About: The Acacia Honeycomb in Wood Frame is a bee product derived from virgin acacia forest sources native to Romania. The honeycombs are collected and packaged straight from the hives in their original form. The honeycombs are never processed or heated to maintain all vital nutrient qualities of antioxidants, pollen, enzymes, vitamins, and amino acids. The bee colonies are treatment-free which keeps the original and authentic quality of their products.

100% Natural Honeycomb from the beehive, maintained on traditional principles. This is a mini-frame that was put into the hives for the bees to produce the beautiful honeycomb.

The composition of these honeycombs is remarkably rich and complex, containing acacia honey, pollen, propolis and wax. Acacia honey inside the honeycomb is particularly valuable due to its specific flavour and characteristics.

The bee colonies are treatment-free which keeps the original and authentic quality of their products. We do not feed our bees, because they have enough honey and pollen remaining in the hives to keep their normal living.

Pairing: Honeycomb is very nutritious, it is so versatile in how it can be eaten, whether it’s added to a fruit salad, or topped onto yogurt, toast, ice cream, or cheese!

The mini frame measures approx. 11x11cm and 4cm deep.

A common question we are asked is regarding the wax and if it can be eaten. The answer is yes, you can! Although it can be very chewy, it can be a natural alternative to chewing gum. However, it shouldn’t be consumed in large quantities.
